In Dead Space and Dead Space 2, audio, text and some video logs can be collected by Isaac, which play immediately upon acquisition and can be played again from the database screen. However, the logs can also be transferred to a holo-displayer. The RIG will store the logs in the device's database where the user can view them at any time. The logs can be activated in a user's RIG, and the message is then projected through the RIG's holo-displayer (given that the user has one). Usually they are used by people who want to record certain events or just store notes. There's a save station pretty close so I've been reloading but, unfortunately, they still haven't shown up and the quest hasn't progressed.Logs are storage devices where a person can store audio, graphics and text. I've only found one other post about them missing and while I cannot seem to find it again, the thread did have someone recommending to re-load the save until they show up. So, either the Audio logs are missing from his Hideout or they didn't register for me. Well, turns out it's not behind the flesh wall but in a room that's now empty for me. maybe the skinned up wall is a secret area or something".Ī bit of shenanigans later and I just decide to look it up because I'm not seeing anything. When I got back to the zone I thought "Huh, I've been here before and didn't notice anything. It's possible I picked up the logs that are supposed to be in his hideout but I don't see anything in my Log List that seems to be them.Īfter finishing the area I decided to look through my Side Quests and see that Kyne's Hideout is supposed to be in the area. I originally found the area that his Hideout is in without realizing that's what it was.
